Again, every aspect from when an apartment is vacated to when it is filled again with a new tenant is covered. Honestly, this is an area that stresses me out.

If you have read or listened to Dr. Fawcett before, you know that he has a unique way of breaking down complex topics and tasks into simple terms, making the confusing, understandable and the daunting, achievable. I found that to be the case again with this module. I picked up a number of pearls that I will be implementing in my business.

Next in Week 3 is New Tenants and Collecting Money

My wife and I are filling our first units. We have been gathering information and advice on how to best do this by word of mouth and searching the internet.

Setting up for our first tenants is a main focus of ours right now. We truly learned more watching this module over one night than we have in the past few months combined.

Again, when you find someone who has been successful doing what you are trying to do, you listen.

This module is a grab bag of sorts but contains a lot of helpful information. Just like leaky toilets, everyone worries about bad tenants and the torture they may bring you.

After reassuring us that problem tenants really are an exception to the rule, Dr. Fawcett provides concrete and actionable steps for dealing with these exceptions. Managing non-paying tenants, evictions, and other issues are laid out quite to the point.

Ah, accounting. We all love accounting, right? Actually it’s probably the single reason that many doctors haven’t gone into real estate. Tracking everything seems like a pain. With this course, you will learn the actual strategies that Dr. Fawcett and his wife used to make this a streamlined process that eventually kind of took care of itself. It’ll be the system that Selenid and I will use.
