Following this accomplishment, she attained her Master of Accountancy from Walsh College in 2008.
Well-qualified in her field, she is a valued member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Tax Planners, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, a Certified Tax Strategist, and a Certified Tax Planner. Additionally, she is licensed to practice and represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states, and last but not least, she
co-authored the book “You Can Deduct That!” in 2016.
Mrs. Channo felt she could not help clients in significant ways while working for other companies, so in 2011, she opened the doors of her own practice, Tax Planning Boutique, in Troy, Michigan. She started her company with the goal of making a real difference for her clients.
