As you know, as part of the PhREI network, we decided to start a weekly roundup to share new activity from across the network. Enjoy!

The Darwinian Doctor
Daniel Shin of the Darwinian Doctor talks about how he was recently scrolling his news feed, and came across an article about the $1 billion gift to Albert Einstein School of Medicine by Ruth Gottesman. If you haven’t heard of this yet, it’s true. ONE BILLION DOLLARS. Because of that donation, tuition for those students is free. Is free medical education worth the risks? Dr. Shin says yes. Let’s see his reasoning! Check it out.
